Beeswax (Cera alba) (Yellow Pellets) 100g

When honey bees gorge on sugar syrup or honey, they exude this wax. What we get from that are these yellow pellets. You can melt them at 64C (174F) in a water bath, inside a stainless steel container. If you don’t want your yellow wax to change is color, don’t use copper, brass, iron or plastic containers. Make sure to always melt it in a water bath. If you try melting it by putting it directly onto a container, it will become hotter and hotter until it finally ignites. You can use these pellets in homemade lip balms, candles, soaps, and lotion bars.
